Natasha has been singing with the outstanding Devon County Junior Choir (DCJC) for five years. Rachel Smith conducts the DCJC choir, is Assistant Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral School and also finds time (I don’t know how!) to direct the National Children’s Choir and is Musical director of RMB Chivenor Military Wives’ Choir. Rachel says:
“Natasha’s singing career began when she joined the Devon County Choir aged 8. The choir, which draws children from all over Devon, gave her a taste of performing in large venues such as Exeter Cathedral and Exeter University, together with the beginning of the development of her vocal technique and the foundations of good choral discipline. As an extremely loyal member, Natasha was able to participate in many high profile concerts and at the age of 13, she graduated to Schola Exe, the Devon County Senior Girls’ Choir. The high quality of singing of the choir further enhanced Natasha’s vocal studies and the choir is delighted that Natasha has joined the Italia Conti Drama School in her pursuit of a career in the performing arts.”
